Studio City Macau's variety of entertainment options put it on the map as one of Macau's top tourist destinations.


Studio City Macau is known for its extensive entertainment features paired with luxury accommodation. Opened in 2015, the resort is located along the Cotai Strip where The Venetian Macao and Wynn Palace Cotai luxury resorts are.

The resort is operated by Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited. It is an Asian developer that also owns other properties in the region such as City of Dreams Macau and Altira Macau. 



How to go to Studio City


There are two transportation options you can choose from once you arrive at the Macau airport:

  1. Line 26 Bus (MOP$7): You can take the Line 26 bus directly from the Macau airport. You can get off at the Posto Fronteirico de Cotai. The bus stop is right in front of Studio Macau’s shopping mall. 
  2. Taxi (MOP$40): Airport taxi rates differ depending on traffic. If you don’t want to ride the bus, you can grab a taxi that will take you straight to Studio City Macau.



Casino at Studio City


Keeping with the resort’s loud and Hollywood theme, the casino at Studio City’s interior is mostly deep red hues with accents of blues and yellows. The chandeliers and lighting also add to the classic Hollywood glamour theme

Signature Club

Signature Club is a room on the gaming floor for high rollers. The room features 52 tables with a minimum cost of HK$1,000 for most games. However, their Baccarat start at HK$3,000. The club also has 134 slot machines you can play.





Studio City Macau’s hotel has 1,600 rooms in two different towers: Star Tower and Celebrity Tower. Star Tower exclusively offers 600 suites. You can enjoy personalized check-in, private indoor heated pool, and a health club at Star Tower

The rest of the hotel rooms are found in Celebrity Tower. It has ten elegant and comfortable rooms and suites you can book.

Star Premier King Suite

The 62 sqm Star Premier King Suite has an open floor plan. It has a king-sized bed, separate bath, and a walk-in rain shower. Some of the room amenities include a 55” LCD HDTV and a 300-thread count bed linen.


Star Premier Twin Suite

The 70sqm room lets guests enjoy 2 queen-sized beds with down feather duvet and pillows. It also has the same amenities as the Star Premier King Suite.


Star Suite

The 85 square meters Star Suite has a separate bedroom and living area. It offers premium amenities like 600-thread count linen and built-in 22” LCD HDTV in the bathroom.


Star Executive Suite

The 125 sqm suite has a separate bedroom, living area, and powder room. The suite’s living room has a dining area that can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. It also has all the premium amenities that Star Suite offers.


Star Grand Suite

There are only four Star Grand Suites offered at Studio City Macau. The 185 square meters suite is considered to be the grandest accommodation in the resort.

The suite has a dining area that can accommodate 8 guests. It also has an exclusive all-in-one personal computer and a 26” built-in LCD HDTV in the bathroom.


Celebrity Tower

Studio City Macau offers leisure activities for both children and adults. The resort is perfect for visiting families and couples alike.


RiverScape and Outdoor Pool

RiverScape is the resort’s aqua adventure that features 3 slides and is split into 3 different routes. It features bridge structures, caves and gateways designed with tribal heads, alligators and monkey walls. RiverScape is connected to the resort’s outdoor pool as well.

The pool area has a man-made beach and a Cabana Bar. The Cabana Bar serves cocktails, smoothies, fresh juice, and light snacks.

RiverScape and the pool area are on the 3rd floor of Studio City. It is open daily from 10 AM to 6:30 PM. The pool is closed from December to February.


Indoor Swimming Pool

The pool is exclusive for Star Tower guests. It is a 25-meter long indoor pool that is constantly heated. There are private cabanas and dedicated changing facilities in the pool area as well.


Zensa Spa

The resort’s award-winning spa has 13 luxury treatment rooms, along with the following state-of-the-art facilities:

  4. Snow Rooms

Guests can enjoy body and facial treatments from the spa’s extensive menu. Zensa Spa also offers Pre and Post Natal Treatment as well.

The spa is located on the 3rd floor of Star Tower. It is open from 11 AM to 12 MN.


Beauty Salon and Fitness Centers

The beauty salon offers a variety of hair and nail treatments. There is also a private beauty room with a selection of treatments you can enjoy. The salon is located on the 3rd floor of Celebrity Tower. It is open from 12 PM to 10 PM.

Both Celebrity Tower and Star Tower have a fitness center with a weight lifting section and fitness equipment. This is open 24/7 although the staff are only present from 7 AM - 10 PM. You can use the fitness center if you are 16 years old and above.





As Macau’s premier leisure and entertainment resort, Studio City Macau has a lot of activities and regular shows. The resort also has various event facilities like the Macau E-Stadium and Studio City Event Center.

Macau E-Stadium is a 2,000 square-foot area that hosts top E-sport tournaments and virtual gaming leagues. It is located on the 2nd level of Studio City.

Studio City Event Center is an arena that can accommodate 5,000 people. It is a versatile venue that has hosted various concerts, theatre shows, and award ceremonies. The arena is on the 1st level of Studio City.

Elekron is an indoor arena-style stunt show that features all-electric sports cars, motorbikes, and quad bikes. Dramatic and daring driving stunts are performed non-stop by over 150 cast and crew. Parkour acrobatics, pyrotechnics, and a biplane are featured at the show as well.

Macau Resident, Student, Senior Citizen







Elekron is a 75-minute show without intermissions. You can watch it daily except on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The show is produced by Stufish, the same production company that previously worked with top artists like Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Madonna. 


Golden Reel

Golden Reel is the world’s highest figure 8 Ferris wheel that has fantastic views of Cotai, Macau. The ride is situated in the middle of Star Tower and Celebrity Tower. It has 17 cabins with a Steampunk theme that can accommodate 10 people each.

The ride’s entrance is on the 3rd level of Studio City. It is open on weekdays from 12 NN - 8 PM while on weekends it is open from 11 AM - 9 PM.

If you are a resident in Macau, the ride costs HK$82 . However, if you are not a resident of Macau, it costs HK$92. Children 12 years old and younger who want to ride the ferris wheel need to be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.


Legend Heroes Park

The Legend Heroes Park is a tech-based entertainment park that combines virtual technology with mechanical rides for a more immersive experience. The park is on the 1st level of Studio City, Macau. It is open from 11 AM - 11 PM.

FlipOut Trampoline

With 78 parks in 7 countries, FlipOut is the leading trampoline park operator. It is open for all ages, with special zones reserved for small children. The park also has a refreshment shop and seating areas.  FlipOut Trampoline is on the 2nd level of Studio City Macau. It is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM except on Saturdays when it has a schedule of 10 AM to 10 PM.

The hourly rate for children aged 17 and below is HK$150, while the hourly rate for adults is HK$200.





There are various dining options at Studio City from fine dining to fast food. Here are some of the restaurants you can find in the resort:


Bi Ying

The Michelin-recommended restaurant serves popular Chinese dishes such as congee, dim sum, and stir-fried meals. Bi Ying also has an open lychee barbecue for meat and seafood. The 24/7 restaurant is located on the first level of Studio City Macau.


Hide Yamamoto

Hide Yamamoto features high-quality authentic Japanese cuisine. Some of the signature dishes of the restaurant are wagyu and homemade ramen prepared using a century-old technique. The restaurant also has a sushi bar and teppanyaki.

Hide Yamamoto is located on the first level of Studio City Macau. It is open daily from 12 NN - 3 PM and 5:30 PM - 11 PM.



Mian is a noodle bar that specializes in authentic Japanese ramen. The restaurant uses signature homemade noodles, soup bases, and ingredients to deliver unique dishes. The restaurant also serves kamameshi, sushi, sashimi, and yakitori.

Mian is located on the first level of Studio City Macau. It is open daily from 11 AM - 11 PM. 



The Boulevard


Studio City’s The Boulevard is the resort’s 35,000 square-meter shopping center. It is famous for its streetscapes inspired by iconic landmarks in the U.S. like New York’s Times Square and Los Angeles’ Beverly Hills.

The Boulevard features top luxury brands like Balmain, Fendi, and Givenchy. It is one of the top fashion destinations in Macau.
