Fukushima Racecourse is one of the racecourses owned by the Japan Racing Association (JRA). Fukushima Racecourse was founded in 1918.

宮城県白石からは、白石蔵王駅で乗り、福島駅で下車します（12分、2,200〜3,600円）。そこからは、福島駅東口からバスに乗り、福島競馬場で下車します（13分）。
角田からは、電車に乗り、福島駅で下車します（1時間4分、850〜1,100円）。そこからは、福島駅東口からバスに乗り、福島競馬場で下車します（13分）。
バス
南矢野目からは、福島交通バスターミナルで会津バスに乗り、福島競馬場前で下車します（17分）。これは、競馬場の丁度前です。
タクシー
南矢野目からは、タクシーで、４分で競馬場に着きます（2,100〜2,500円）。
笹木野からは、タクシーで競馬場まで7分です(2,900〜3,600円)。
角田からは、タクシーで競馬場まで42分です(14,000〜18,000円)。

福島競馬場では平地競走しか行われないため、２つのレースコースしかありません。そして各レースコースはさまざまな競馬を行えるよう異なった距離で構成されています。福島競馬場の1つのコースは芝コースで、もう1つはダートコースです。
メインコース
The main course at Fukushima Racecourse is a turf course commonly found in Europe and is also the most common course in flat racing. The turf course is a great course for horses to run.

Dirt course
Fukushima Racecourse has a dirt course where horses run. The dirt course is the most commonly used race course for horse racing, but because Japan has a lot of rain and the riding conditions tend to be poor, sand is used instead of soil as in other countries such as the United States.
On race courses with poor drainage such as soil, the ground becomes too soft, so sand with better drainage than soil has come to be used.
The distance around the dirt course of Fukushima Racecourse is 1444 meters, and the width is 20 to 25 meters.
Steeplechase course
Currently, there are no steeplechase races at Fukushima Racecourse, but there is a dedicated course where you can do steeplechase races. The steeplechase course intersects the final line of the dirt course. And there is also a turf course.
